Hotel Booking


Rooms have been reserved at hotel La Residenza del Sole (the hosting Congress Center), and other two charming, 4-stars, marked mountain style and nearby hotels: Gressoney and La Gran Baita, both at short walking distance from both the Congress Center and downtown. A cheaper alternative will be provided by 3-star hotel Lyskamm right in the middle of the town. Even if distances will be short, a shuttle service to and from the hotels will be provided during the Conference. Lunch will be served at the restaurant of the Congress Center for all partecipants. About 90 rooms have been reserved until June 15 at the four hotels at the discounted prices below.

Accomodation at 4-stars hotel La Residenza del Sole is priced at 100 Euro in single room and 85 Euro in double room, full board. It includes free access to the swimming pool, sauna and gym. All rooms have TV with international channels, phone, safe and hair-dryer.

4-stars hotel Gressoney is less than 10 minute walk from the Congress Center and 10 from the town centre. Accomodation is priced at 95 Euro in single room and 80 Euro in double room, full board. It includes free access to the hotel sauna and gym. All rooms have TV with international channels, phone, safe, fridge and hair-dryer.

The 4-stars hotel La Gran Baita is, similarly, less than 10 minute walk from the Congress Center and 10 from the town centre. Accomodation is priced at 90 Euro in single room and 75 Euro in double room, full board. All rooms have TV with international channels, phone, safe and hair-dryer.

All the rooms reserved for the Conference at the 3-stars hotel Lyskamm have already been booked by May 15.

Lunch will be served for all attendees at the restaurant of the Congress Center.

To book the hotel, fax this form to the coordinating Agency at FAX number +39 015 33985. All inquires and requests about hotels, accomodation, special needs, transfer from and to the airport, etc., must be addresses to the coordinating Agency, via e-mail to Gaia2002@serenissimaviaggi.com, and not to the scientific secretary GAIA2002@pd.astro.it. If you need it, the Agency could organize your tranfert from and back the Milan-Malpensa airport, door-to-door with the Congress Center, by dedicated bus (cost currently estimated to ~25 Euro). For the hotel booking and conference registration to be effective, payment of the registration fee has to be cleared with the Agency (see the form to be faxed and also under Registration on the left frame). The registration fee is 200 Euro for early registration (before May 15), and 250 Euro for late registration (until June 15). The registration fee covers the coffee breaks, copy of the Abstract book, copy of the Proceedings, the social dinner and the guided tour on Wednesday afternoon. Cancellation policy: only early registration fees (those paid before May 15) will be refunded if cancellation should occur earlier than June 15.
